Outline:
Define Hess’s law. Retrieve the chemicals from the stockroom explorer. Retrieve the required glassware and tools. Record the temperature using the thermometer provided. Use the foam cup as calorimeter. Determine heat change for neutralization reaction of Sodium hydroxide(NaOH) and Hydrochloric acid(HCl). Calculate of energy change for exothermic reaction. Calculate of heats of reaction in KJ/mol. Delete the used apparatus and chemicals from the Workbench. Rename the glassware using the context menu. Analyse the results.
