Regarding installing packages
Whenever I type the install.packages command, I get the first line in red color as
"WARNING: Rtools is required to build R packages but is not currently installed. Please download and install the appropriate version of Rtools before proceeding:"
Is this a problem??

The error message is indicating that either R or RStudio is not able to access the internet. Make sure that your internet connection is working correctly. Also, make sure if your system's firewall is preventing either R or RStudio from accessing the internet or not. Sometimes it even happens that the antivirus software also stops third-party tools like RStudio from accessing the internet. You can also google the error message and try to find a suitable solution.

why Its takes too time for installing and shows there are binary versions available but the source version are later : binary source version needs compilation. ....when I start to install packages first it raised question for compliation ,on that time I was not sure so I quit ..now I started again to install ... it doesn't shows the question.
